The condenser fan motor turns the fan blades, which blow air across the condenser coil, cooling the refrigerant to turn it from a gas into a liquid. A well-maintained condenser fan motor is key to prolonging the life of your AC’s compressor.
Goodman’s GSX16, GSX14, and GSX13 have single-speed condenser fan motors that turn off once the desired temperature is achieved, turning on again when the compressor turns on.
